About the cottage

In the cottage there is a double sofa bed, TV with Apple TV, Wi-Fi and a kitchenette with fridge, freezer compartment, microwave, oven, stove, fan, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. There are also household items such as dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots,
dish washing brush and drainer.

Bedding and pillows are found in the sofa bed. Bed linen and towels are in the drawer beneath the TV. The towels are only meant to be used in the cottage (not to the beach).

In the storage room there is an extra bed, kitchen towels, cleaning materials, kitchenware and a flat iron. If you bring small children, there’s also a travel cot with
mattress, a high chair and a basket with toys and books.

Outside the cottage there is a small patio and the possibility to park your car. We don’t use the gate, so the whole space is at your disposal. In the shed to the left of the cottage there are two camping chairs, a drying rack and a picnic grill with charcoal and lighter fuel. Feel free to barbeque at the beach!

In the shed there are also two bikes. The key to the bike lock hangs to the right on the inside wall and there is also a bike pump. The key to the shelter is on the same padlock as the cottage key.

Grocery stores and petrol station

The nearest grocery store is ICA Nära Ankaret, about 1,5 km from the cottage. Address: Tångvägen 39. Their opening hours are 9 am – 9 pm every day.

Stora (big) COOP in Breared is the closest supermarket, with a wide range of food and other products. Open at 7 am – 9 pm every day. There is also a “Systembolaget” (liquor store) and a pharmacy. Address: Vrångagatan 1

At Trålvägen 1 (close to ICA and Ithe southern entrance to Träslövsläge), you will find the nearest petrol station (Din-X).

Parking In Varberg

You can park almost everywhere for free a certain amount of hours with a parking disc (P-skiva), with a few exceptions. You will find free P-discs in the box on the drawer. For more information regarding P-disc and rules, search for ‘p-skiva’ or ‘p disc’ on the municipality website

Garbage

Throw rubbish in this place – household waste in the green bin and food scraps in the brown bin.

Smoking and pets

Smoking inside and right outside the cottage is prohibited. Pets are not allowed.

Nisse

Our cat Nisse (a black and white farm cat) is the cutest cat in the world! He loves to be cuddled. However, we ask you not to bring him into the cottage as we want it to be allergy safe.

Security

Fire detector is in the ceiling, close to the entrance. Fire extinguisher and a fire blanket hang in the storage room on the left hand side.

Press the power button on the ’Grundig’ remote control to turn on the TV. On the same remote you also adjust the volume. To watch Apple TV, press the ‘Source’ button
and choose ’Apple TV’. There you will find streamed channels via Internet. Some channels are free of charge,while others require a private login for a fee. There are no cable channels.

Emergency health care is available at Varberg Hospital, located on Träslövsvägen 68. You don’t need to book your visit in advance. Follow the signs to ‘Akutmottagningen’.

Folktandvården (dentist) is located in the same house as Västra Vall health care clinic. Phone number: +46 340 48 23 00

Pharmacies

Kronan's pharmacy, next to Stora COOP, about 4 km from the cottage. Open hours: 9 am – 7 pm on weekdays and 10 am -3 pm on Saturdays, closed Sundays.

The hospital pharmacy on Träslövsvägen, open hours 8 am – 7 pm on weekdays and 10 am – 5 pm on weekends.

Apotek Hjärtat at ICA Hajen, Monarkvägen 2. Open hours 8 am – 8 pm on weekdays and 8 am – 6 pm on weekends.
